HOW IT WORKS

How the method works

Water from the lower chamber passes through the coffee into the upper chamber during heating.

How the cup usually turns out
A concentrated drink brewed differently from espresso. The result depends on your coffee and equipment.
What it forgives — and what it doesn't
Respect the reservoir and basket size of the specified model. Do not scale this like a filter recipe.
The most common trap
Tamping the coffee or covering the valve with water. Follow the manufacturer’s manual and the recipe for your pot size.
